Promotion terms

From time to time, directcases.com runs promotions. This page sets out the general rules for each type of promotion. They apply whenever a promotion of that type runs. This page does not mean that a promotion is running right now.

Each promotion also has its own conditions, such as the participating products and the end date. We show them with the promotion. Our terms & conditions apply to every order.

Prices and discounts

• All prices include VAT.

• When we announce a price reduction, the previous price we show is the lowest price we charged for that product in the 30 days before the reduction.

• If we increase a reduction step by step during one promotion, the previous price is the lowest price in the 30 days before the first reduction.

Types of promotion

1+1 free

When a 1+1 free promotion runs, you buy two participating products and pay for one. We calculate the discount as 50% off both products, so together they cost the price of one. Add two participating products to your cart. The discount is calculated and applied automatically.

2+1 free

When a 2+1 free promotion runs, you buy three participating products and pay for two. We calculate the discount as one third off all three products, so together they cost the price of two. Add three participating products to your cart. The discount is calculated and applied automatically.

Second item half price

When this promotion runs, you get 50% off the cheaper of two participating products. The discount is applied automatically when you have two participating products in your cart.

Bundle discount

When a bundle promotion runs, you get a discount on a specific combination of products. The discount is applied automatically when all products of the bundle are in your cart.

Percentage discount

When a percentage promotion runs, the stated percentage comes off the price of the participating products. You see the reduced price on the product page or in your cart, as stated with the promotion.

Discount codes

With a discount code you get an extra discount on your order. This is how you use it:

• Add the products you want to your cart.

• At checkout, enter the code in the discount code field.

• Apply the code. The discount is taken off your total straight away.

Unless stated otherwise with the code:

• You can use one discount code per order.

• A discount code cannot be combined with other promotions or offers.

• A discount can never be more than the order amount, and shipping costs are not included when the discount is calculated.

• A code cannot be exchanged for cash.

• We may cancel a code if it is misused or shared illegally.

Returning products bought in a promotion

Your right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee also apply to products bought in a promotion. Please note:

• Full return: if you return all products from your order, you get back the amount you paid for the products, plus the original shipping cost up to the price of the cheapest standard delivery option, as set out in our terms & conditions. For a "Money back" return with our return label, we deduct €3.50. Returning a faulty product is free.

• Partial return: if you return only part of the order, we recalculate the promotion discount for the products you keep. You get back the amount paid for the returned product, minus any discount you no longer qualify for and, where applicable, the return costs. Shipping costs are not refunded while you keep part of the order.

Excluded from promotions

Some products and brands are excluded from promotions, for example:

• Products that already have a discount or are part of another promotion (unless stated otherwise)

• Specific brands, if stated with the promotion

With each promotion we state clearly which products or categories are excluded.

General rules

• Promotions are valid while stocks last, unless an end date is stated.

• We may change or end a promotion early. This does not affect orders you have already placed.

• Obvious errors in a promotion do not bind us.

• Promotions are meant for consumers, not for commercial resale.

• If several promotions apply at the same time, you always get the option that is best for you, unless stated otherwise.
