Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold cases
Frequently Asked Questions
Pick a case made specifically for this foldable, because the fit follows the folded size of 155.2 × 76 × 10.1 mm and the hinge has to stay free. A cover for a flat phone cannot wrap two halves that fold apart like a book. Check that the chosen case leaves the folding movement, the charging port and the side buttons clear before you order.
Tempered glass is an option for the outer screen of 6.5 inches; the foldable inner screen of 8 inches needs a protector explicitly made for this display, normally a flexible film that can follow the crease. A rigid glass plate does not belong over the fold. Use the phone mostly folded? Start with the outer screen. Do you work on the large inner display a lot? Add a compatible inner-screen film as a separate step.
Only if the case itself supports magnetic charging. The phone handles MagSafe/Qi2, but the cover in between decides whether the magnets line up with your charger or car mount. A magnet ring helps with alignment; it says nothing about holding force through every case. Check that phone, case and charger or mount are listed as compatible.
It should not, but check the design: the fingerprint sensor sits on the side of this model, in or next to the power button, so that button must stay easy to press. Some covers use an open cut-out, others a moulded button cap, and each feels different. Read the product details for button access if you unlock the phone one-handed while it is folded.
IP68 describes dust and water resistance under test conditions; it does nothing against drops, scratches or knocks on the hinge area. A case helps limit that kind of damage, without promising an as-new device. At 239 grams and 10.1 mm folded, the phone is a solid block in your hand, so grip and raised edges around the rear cameras are worth looking for.
